„When is the school system going down? They are ruining our children with their “woke-ism” and sexual agenda. „

  • THAT system is coming down…take your children out of it!
  • Took 10 year old out last year.  Best decision ever!

  •  Smart and brave!

  • It seems to me that all our institutions are already crumbling by degrees, and new systems rising not so much out of the ashes as alongside, until the old systems can’t keep going from a combination of lack of funding and too few people having any interest anymore.
Last winter I was asked to make a presentation at a meeting of parents who were concerned about the possibility of their children being given the COVID shot at school without their consent. I gave them some information about notices of liability they could serve, but stressed that the safest way was just not to have them in school at all. Some 25 people showed up and seemed all gung-ho. Then only a few children were actually taken out of school. It was discouraging. People really can find solutions if they want it enough. Get together with other parents and form a co-op. There are ways.
I don’t know where you live, but Action4Canada has an active parents‘ group and can give advice and support about either homeschooling or activism to counteract what’s going on in the schools. If I had a school-age child that is what I would be doing. The more we focus on other solutions, the faster the old systems will fall.

  • This is a very interesting comment, L. I found an alternative school for my son a year ago January and haven’t looked back since. It’s wonderful for him.  My 12 year-old nephew is being home schooled now and I’ve never seen him so happy or well-adjusted.  I was honestly convinced there would have been an exodus from the schools by now, but that hasn’t happened and I’m surprised. Especially with everything that’s going on now. I can’t believe how much pressure it takes for people to want to make any changes, and I realize most are paralyzed by a fear of being „different“ and a deep need to keep the status quo no matter what.  (Is this what’s meant by NPCs?). I hear stories everyday of the kids suffering emotionally in schools since the pandemic, but parents by and large seem completely blind to it.
  • I know, I find that really disturbing. There are all sorts of excuses, but if people really wanted to find a way, they could. What could be more important than the children? The only thing I can make of it really is that relationships between parents and children have gotten harder since everyone got so addicted to cell phones. Communication is not what it was.
Anyway, good for you and all the best with your son and your nephew! I hope others will be joining them soon!
  • Me too!
  • The whole educational system will go down.  Children will have new ways of learning and the esoteric will be part of their curriculum.
  •  can’t happen soon enough
